New to St. John's?
Where should I park?
You can park in the lot located on the southwest side of the building, which opens to Highland Ave. and South Lincoln Ave. If that lot is full, park in the Orchard Park Public Library lot across the street and look both ways when you cross!
What should I wear?
We don’t have a dress code. Some folks dress in a jacket/tie or skirt/dress, some business casual, and others in jeans and shirts with some kind of collar. There's even some shorts in the crowd.
Are you going to ask me for money?
We believe that giving is an act of worship for Christians. You are our guest, we don’t expect you to give. It is our desire for you to connect with God while you are here.
Are you going to single me out?
When you visit with us, you are our guest. We don’t want to do anything to make you feel uncomfortable. We won’t single you out.
How long will it last?
Our services usually last between 60 and 75 minutes.
What do you offer for children?
We offer Sunday school classes for kids ages 3 through high school on Sunday mornings at 9:40. Find out more about the classes under 'Weekends' (children, middle school and high school). Our child care room for children under 3 is currently unavailable due to our construction project. We will have child care available again when our new building is complete. Children are always welcome to worship with their family.
Will my kids be safe?
The safety of your children is one of our highest priorities. Children second grade and under are held in their Sunday school classes until parents come to get them.
Is there handicapped access?
Handicapped access to our sanctuary is off the main entrance/circle drive. You can use the ramp leading to the east door to enter the lobby/sanctuary. Our main office and classroom building can be accessed through the double doors near the parking lot. We currently do not have handicapped access to our fellowship hall as the elevator is not available due to our construction project.
