At St. John's, the goal of our children's ministry is to connect children to Jesus and help them build their relationship with Him and each other. We use curriculum that is consistent (meaning all of your kids are learning the same weekly lesson at an age appropriate level) which encourages family discussion. We also offer monthly gatherings for kids where they can enjoy fellowship with each other and learn more about God's Word through various fun activities. If you have any questions about children's ministry here at St. John's, please contact Mary Wellington, Children's Ministry Director.
Sunday School is offered from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for three year olds through 5th grade from September to May. The children are taught about God’s love and Christ’s forgiveness. Christian principles are taught in a fun setting with games, crafts, and music supporting the lessons. The children also have the opportunity to take part in our annual Children's Christmas Pageant and Easter Egg hunt and decorating get together. Friends are always welcome!
